The love-month. Yes, it's Valentine's Day again. Check out our amazing Valentine's day special. Summer is still in full swing and the bushveld is dressed in thick varieties of green. Birdlife around the lodge is such that you don't dare go out without binoculars. The activity centre is operational, and the other building projects are ongoing and slowly nearing completion.
We invite you to come and share in our passion, come and experience true Bushveld hospitality.
Multi Activity Centre
The centre will host a variety of activities including a bowrange, driving range, frisbee golf, fishing and more. There's also golf club sets available to rent if you're interested in playing at some of the golf courses in the area.

A beautifull large pink funnel shaped flower, that's easy to find from December to March. Ipomoea bolusiana, from the morning-glory family, also known as a pink ipomoea or narrow-leaved pink ipomoea. It's highly esteemed by caudex and cactus growers for its flamboyant flowers. The tuberous rootstocks are edible as well.
Building Projects
The extension to Rafiki is still ongoing and should be completed and ready by March this year. Once finished it will add 6 more twin rooms to the camp.
Caught on Camera
This Abdims Stork was on the bow range, not a 3D target or a live target, just perching in the rain.
The Pintailed Whydahs are also a common sighting around the lodge.
Did you know?
Just how February 14 came to celebrate the heart as a symbol of romantic love and to be called Valentine’s Day is uncertain. There were various emperors, popes, and religious leaders named Valentine in the early history of Christendom, including two Roman Catholics designated as Saint Valentine.
